The Triathlon World Series events cancelled by coronavirus
Triathlon events and races on the 2020 calendar that have been postponed or cancelled
The International Triathlon Union announced in March that all activity has been suspended until at least the 30th April due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The suspension includes all World & Paratriathlon ranking races, as well as Olympic & Paralympic qualifiers. The current rankings for both male and female athletes will be frozen for the time being.
Cancelled or postponed World Triathlon Series races
6th – 7th March | Abu Dhabi (postponed)
18th – 19th April | Bermuda (postponed)
6th – 7th June | Leeds (postponed)
Races still scheduled on the World Triathlon Series calendar
As it stands, some races – including the Grand Final in Edmonton – are still slated to go ahead.
16th – 17th May | Yokohama, Japan
23rd – 28th June | Montreal, Canada
11th – 12th July | Hamburg, Germany
17th – 23rd August | Edmonton, Canada (Grand Final)
The 2020 AJ Bell World Triathlon in Leeds has been cancelled.

22nd March | Sarasota-Bradenton World Cup & Paratriathlon World Cup (cancelled)
2nd May | ITU Paratriathlon World Championships (moved from Milan to Montreal in June)
1st – 3rd | Chengdu Olympic Qualification, Mixed Relay (moved to Valencia)
